Puddle study

Oil on canvas, 15x10 cm

The light was fading fast, so I had to be quick. This one took 35 mins.

Very nice Artto, love the painting knife strokes.
I see you taped the canvas to a board, do you stretch it afterward?

Thank you Erik. Yes, I attach the canvas on stretchers later if I consider the work worth hanging on the wall. This one is so small though that I dont think stretchers so small exist. :) Anyway, most of my paintings end up in a drawer so they don't take much space when it's just canvas.

Thats a great idea. I still have quite a lot of linen leftovers lying around I was planning to use on making my own canvasboards but this is a better use I think (especially for the storage too).
