No, this is a studio piece.

beautiful painting Arto, I may be out of trend, but I like better studio painting than plain air, to me, plain air is good as studies, but most of the time, a well finish painting in the studio, taking your time and without worries. Any way this is only my opinion. Your work is blooming beautifully.

Thank you very much Jesus! I guess both plein air and studio painting have their pros and cons. A camera doesn't record the lights and darks as the eye sees them, but then again it can capture fleeting light effects that would be impossible to paint on the spot. In studio painting there's more time to design the composition and create a more refined work. I think doing both plein air and studio paintings helps one grow as an artist.
