Self portrait

I decided to sit in front of a mirror and do my first self portrait. I also used the "Zorn-palette" for the first time. My palette consisted of titanium white, yellow ochre, permanent red medium and ivory black. I think I'm going to use it in the future also, it was kinda fun! The mixing is much easier, since there are so few colors.

This, by the way, is my 100th painting.

Oil on canvas, 27x35 cm

Congratulation Arto, you did a very good job,it is also interesting that you did it with Zorn-palette, I think that it suits you. Now you have to do a second one. Cheers

Good job Arto and congratulations on your 100th painting. I still have to count my own but I'm sure I'm nowhere near that :(
The Zorn palette is very nice for portraits, for landscapes I would miss a blue.
