Love your recent plein airs Arto!
Alwats nice to see the location shots with the easel.
Which leads to my question:
How do you attach your palette to your wooden field easel?
Can't tell by the photos..

Thanks Erik, glad you like them! I have two corner brackets fixed on to the easel. There's a screw on both brackets which go through holes on the palette. The palette is then fastened with wing nuts.

But that's not all :) There are four holes in the corners of the palette and four spacers in the corners of my paint box. When I'm done painting, the palette goes on my paint box paint side down. That design allows me to load my palette at home before heading to the woods.

If that was as clear as mud, maybe I should do a post of my customized paint boxes with pictures.

I guess that was clear but of course some pictures are always nice :)
